Police Raid NASA MP's Home

Mwingi Central Member of Parliament (MP) Gideon Mulyungi on Friday evaded arrest by police after making 'embarrassing' remarks on President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Dr Mulyungi could not be found when the police raided his home seeking to arrest him and his whereabouts have not been established since then.

The Wiper Party MP is accused of having insulted President Kenyatta's manhood.

"He is not a superman. What is he trying to show us? If he removed his trousers and I remove mine, you will realise that my manhood is bigger than his. He is not a special man," the Opposition MP stated during an anti-election rally in Kitui.

The former Permanent Secretary went on to discredit the President's promises to the people of Ukambani claiming that they were empty.

"Uhuru cannot tell me anything since I am well-endowed than him where it matters," Dr Mulyungi declared.

The MP went on to accuse the President of having "stolen" girls from the Ukambani region, referring to Jubilee MP Rachael Nyamai and Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Monica Juma who hail from Mwingi.

"He should be advised to leave our girls alone," the legislator prescribed.

He went on to disclose details of an alleged call from Deputy President William Ruto, whom he claimed offered him a chance to join the ruling party.

"He telephoned and introduced himself as William Ruto. I asked which Ruto and he said the Deputy President.

"He then said he wanted us to work together. I told him it was too late and that my President is Raila Odinga and Deputy President Kalonzo Musyoka," Dr Mulyungi declared.

The MP spoke at a rally attended by Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu, Kibwezi East MP Jessica Mbalu and Machakos Woman Representative Joyce Kamene.
