3 Shot After Attacking Jubilee Politician's House

Three people believed to be part of gang were on Friday shot after attacking former Karachuonyo MP James Rege's home in Homa Bay County.

Police shot one dead and injured two others when they were dispersing the youth who had raided the Jubilee politician's rural house.

20-year-old Victor Muga was killed while his accomplices Cleavance Odhiambo and Samuel Jeremiah were injured in the attack.

Police reports indicate that the gang of youth attempted to burn down Mr Rege's home in Pala village on claims that he was hiding ballot papers that were marked in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
