Jubilee Senator Threatens to Boycott NTV Interviews [VIDEO]

Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi has threatened to boycott NTV debates for what he termed as an inability of TV hosts to call Miguna Miguna to order during the live discussions.

During a Tuesday panel discussion, the Jubilee politician expressed his dissatisfaction at how the host, Trevor Ombija, was allowing the former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate to grandstand other members of the panel.

"Unless you lead us to the point where we say we will walk out when Miguna is here, we will. My persistence is on you (Trevor Ombija) to ensure that the rules of the debate are observed," he declared.

Mr Wamatangi stated that the discussion should be guided and panelists should avoid irresponsible comments.

"If we do not exercise restraint. If you allow that this is 'a free for all' and Miguna can drop any objective he likes and you can't stop him because he is shouting, it is very wrong," he added.

During the same discussion, Dr Miguna called President Uhuru Kenyatta a liar after his acceptance speech at the Bomas of Kenya on Monday.

He further explained that there will be petitions filed at the Supreme Court challenging the election results.

Secondly, the renowned lawyer noted that there will be constitutional applications to the Court questioning the validity of the October 26th election.

He cited one case that has already been filed by Human Right activist Okiya Omtatah challenging the validity of the poll.

Dr Miguna also revealed that there will be a people's resistance against dictatorship and the illegitimate government.
