President Uhuru Kenyatta will be sworn-in for his second term on Tuesday at Kasarani Stadium in an event that is set to attract over 100,000 people as per state sources.
According to reports, the Head of State will use the same Bible that was used by his father and first President of Kenya, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, in 1964 during his inauguration.
Several high profile leaders have been invited and key among them is Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who confirmed attendance.

Ambassador Robert Godec will lead the US government delegation accompanied by other US officials but President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will apparently not be among them.
Security has been beefed up in and around the stadium and members of the press have been asked to submit their bio-data and original identification documents before gaining access to the facility.
Interestingly, Kenyatta extended an invitation to National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga to the event and urged Opposition leaders to cancel their parallel event at Jacaranda grounds on the same day.
The Opposition has, however, vowed to go ahead with the rally which is meant to be a memorial service for those who died during the electioneering period.
A section of NASA MPs claimed that 54 people lost their lives in the past one week and stated that the killings took place when Odinga jetted back to the country.
They have condemned police brutality and maintained that they will not identify with Kenyatta as their President.
President Kenyatta's election win was upheld by the Supreme Court despite several petitions filed against him and is set to serve his second term until 2022.
