Do This To Keep NASA Alive - Raila Advised

Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago has asked the National Super Alliance (NASA) leadership to recognize President Uhuru Kenyatta's Government and engage in dialogue, terming the coalition's resistance as 'unworkable'.

He called on NASA to accept that President Kenyatta was legally in office and shift focus to uniting the country.

Speaking on Friday, Governor Mandago stated: "Those who wanted dialogue like NASA can now come for it instead of resisting because we now have President Kenyatta in power.

"There was no way everyone was going to win elections and those who lost must accept and move on. NASA has tried all ways which have not worked. Let them back Uhuru," he continued.

Mandago further declared that it was time for the country to move on from the electioneering period and focus on development matters.

"We must now move forward as a county and avoid waste of time on political gossip," Mandago stated.

He lamented that some county operations had been negatively impacted by the protracted stalemate but promised everything would run smoothly from January 2018.

NASA has maintained that President Kenyatta's administration is illegitimate and has pledged to swear in Raila Odinga as President on December 12.

The coalition has already begun sending out invites to the event.

NASA endorsed Governor Mandago in the Gubernatorial race against Zedekiah 'Buzeki' Bundotich.
