Raila Will Get to State House Before 2022 - Senator Reveals

Kisumu Senator Fred Outa on Saturday stated that Opposition Leader Raila Odinga will get into State House by all means before the 2022 General Election.

According to the Star, the Senator divulged that even though there were challenges the coalition and its leaders are confident that Mr Odinga will make it to State House.

"You all remember we vowed not to come back to you complaining that our votes have been stolen. We will not as we must get to State House, by all means, this time round," Outa was quoted by the Star.

The Senator urged NASA supporters to stand with the coalition adding that all the lives lost during the fight reforms will not go in vain.

Meanwhile, NASA CEO Norman Magaya on Saturday stated that the former Prime Minister will be inaugurated before the new year.

Mr Magaya noted that everything was on course regarding Mr Odinga's swearing-in adding that the coalition had not relented on its reform agenda.

“It certainly cannot go beyond 2017, and so we are talking of this happening within the next 10 days or so. We have to end the culture of electoral impunity once and for all and in this year,” Magaya was quoted by Standard.

The NASA CEO further explained that if the coalition's inauguration plan is interfered with, the alliance will proceed with the self-determination route.

“It’s either democracy or self-determination," he stated.

Reports indicate that the coalition's principals are set to go on a retreat from next week to discuss key issues affecting the coalition.

The Nation reports that Mr Odinga's inauguration will be the top item on the agenda with divisions in the alliance being another key issue for discussion.
