A surprise announcement was the resignation of Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Keriako Tobiko after President Kenyatta disclosed that he had nominated him (Tobiko) for a CS position.

One user questioned why Mr Tobiko was given the position.

The President further retained Joseph Kinyua as the Head of Public Service and appointed Kinuthia Mbugua as Comptroller of State House.

Nzioka Waita was named Chief of Staff.

Additionally, President Kenyatta made major changes to the National Police Service (NPS) sending senior officers for redeployment.

Addressing the nation from State House, President Kenyatta noted that the changes were meant to improve service delivery and efficiency in the service.

Outgoing Directorate of Criminal Investigations Head Ndegwa Muhoro was redeployed in the new structure.

Dear Mr Charles Owino, how do you feel being used like a tissue paper then dropped like a hot pan...? Under Uthamaki government posts like Deputy Inspector General has owners.
