"I’m asking the police to arrest me on a weekday if at all I’m in their list. Today is not a good day for me since it’s a Friday, or alternatively, the government can construct a police cell in my house, I will be sleeping there whenever they feel offended by me," stated the post seen by Kenyans.co.ke

The National Super Alliance (NASA) leader has severally been arrested by the flying squad on a Friday, hence spending time in the cells over the weekend.

Late last month, Owino was arrested for allegedly harassing security guards in Westlands, an incident that was captured on CCTV cameras.

He was later released on Sunday from Parklands Police Station upon request by Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja who gave the police surety of presenting the lawmaker in court on Monday.

This comes after police arrested Miguna Miguna on Friday morning for allegedly administering an illegal oath to Opposition leader Raila Odinga during his swearing-in on January 30.
