National Resistance Movement (NRM) General, Miguna Miguna, on Wednesday named the three politicians he claimed would replace National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal Musalia Mudavadi as leaders of the Luhya community.
Through his Twitter account, Miguna noted that Senators Cleophas Malala (Kakamega), George Khaniri (Vihiga) and nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi are the future leaders of the Luhya nation adding that Mudavadi is of the past.
He further took a swipe at the ANC leader stating that he was on a suicide pact with NASA co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula.
The self-proclaimed general of NRM was reacting to Mudavadi's announcement that he would crack the whip on the three over their remarks considered to be submersive to ANC policies and ideals.
"OMWAMI @MusaliaMudavadi is determined to die in a SUICIDE PACT with @skmusyoka and @Wetangulam. A friendly advise to @MusaliaMudavadi: @GeorgeKhaniri , @Cleophas_Malala and @HonOsotsi are the FUTURE of the LUHYA NATION. You are the PAST," he stated.

The three MPs, who attended the Uhuru Park event, have been critical of their party leader’s failure to attend the ‘oath’ event and have been allegedly planning meetings to create resolutions contrary to the party's wish.
In a memo, Mudavadi stated that he would not allow any member to sabotage ANC by organising meetings without the approval of the Secretariat.
“We do not recognise those meetings and the purported resolutions. You are strictly advised to avoid meetings that have not been communicated to you by the party secretariat.
“Anyone attending such functions will be dealt with accordingly,” Mudavadi noted.

In reaction to this, Mr Osotsi noted that Mr Mudavadi’s continued silence over the oath taking event has not helped matters in his party.
