The Only NASA Leader DP Ruto Follows on Twitter

Deputy President Willaim Samoei Ruto is arguably recognised as one of the most popular personalities on Twitter in Kenya based on the number of followers he has.

Among the 86 people Ruto follows on his account mainly Heads of States, Cabinet Secretaries, Governors and a select few personalities, is only one National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Kibra Member of Parliament Kenneth Okoth.

It is arguably believed that Ruto follows the lawmaker following his track record of development.

In February, Okoth won the hearts of Kenyans after images of a school he built using Constituency Development Funds (CDF) emerged on social media platforms.

The Mbagathi Girls High School was officially opened on February 16, in an event attended by many leaders including Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris among thousands of locals who applauded him for his exemplary leadership.

The other people followed by Ruto include US President Donald Trump, his wife Melania Trump together with their predecessors Barrack Obama and Mitchelle Obama.

Governors Anne Waiguru (Kirinyaga), Mwangi wa Iria (Murang'a), Mike Sonko (Nairobi) and Charity Ngilu (Kitui) are also followed by the man second-in-command.

Additionally, Kenyans.co.ke noted that Ruto also follows only three other Members of Parliament, nominated MP Cecily Mbarire, Lang'ata MP Nixon Korir and National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale.

Celebrated 800 meters world record holder David Rudisha, Citizen TV anchor Jeff Koinange and Ibua Africa CEO Mumbi Ndung'u are among other personalities followed by the deputy president.
