Kalonzo Musyoka to Meet Former President Daniel Moi

NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka is set to meet former President Daniel Moi in the coming days.

Speaking to journalists on Friday, Kalonzo indicated that he will go to seek the blessings of the retired head of state at his Kabarak home.

Kalonzo further downplayed the recent visit and meeting by NASA leader Raila Odinga, Mzee Moi, and his son Gideon Moi.

In his view, Raila's visit would not have much impact on the 2022 succession politics.

He had returned shortly after an election observation mission in Azerbaijan and was content with IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati and the recent suspension of the CEO Ezra Chiloba.

"I am looking forward to Raila-Uhuru handshake resulting to reforms at the commission," he stated.

Kalonzo further expressed optimism that the recent handshake between Mr Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta will offer the elusive electoral reforms that NASA has been demanding.

Reports indicate that Raila's meeting centered on briefing Mzee Moi about the handshake and the efforts on uniting the country.

This saw Mzee Moi commend Raila for sacrificing his personal ambitions for the sake of the country.

Uhuru and Raila are expected to unveil a roadmap of their pact in the coming days as a followup of their pact dubbed "Building bridges to a new Kenyan nation."
