Miguna Miguna Reveals What Raila Should not Expect From President Uhuru

National Resistance Movement (NRM-K) self-proclaimed general Miguna Miguna on Tuesday disclosed what Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga should not expect from President Uhuru Kenyatta

Posting on his Facebook page, the outspoken leader noted: "The despots Uhuru Kenyatta and William Samoei Ruto grabbed power by force from Prime Minister Raila Odinga in 2013. Why would any sensible person expect them to give him power VOLUNTARILY in 2018 through a handshake?

"Jomo Kenyatta didn't give Jaramogi power. Moi and Kibaki didn't give Raila, either. History teaches us that power concedes nothing without a struggle, to paraphrase Frederick Douglass. Those who grab power by stealing elections or by perpetrating civilian or military coups don't relinquish it without a fight. They never did and they never will," added the Canada-based barrister.

Miguna further asserted that it is the reason why his movement (NRM-K) will ensure that the Jubilee administration is removed from power.

"That is why we, as the NRMKe, believe in the only tested path to a fundamental structural change: the removal of the despots from power by direct popular people power. Viva!" exclaimed Miguna.

The harsh Jubilee administration critique on Sunday divulged that despite the Opposition leader joining forces with the Head of State, he (Miguna) will see to it that the plans of intentions of the unity pact are not achieved.

"The former opposition "leaders" may continue celebrating my humiliation, abuse, torture and forced exile by the despots but they must be reminded that just like with Jomo Kenyatta (who betrayed Jaramogi, Oneko, Mboya, Argwings Kodhek and Bildad Kagia), Daniel arap Moi (who sabotaged Raila, Saitoti, Kalonzo and Mudavadi) and Mwai Kibaki (who trashed the MoU and undermined Raila during the Grand Coalition government) before him, Uhuru Kenyatta, too, will not reciprocate,"Miguna warned Mr Odinga.

Additionally, Miguna dismissed Mr Odinga for abandoning the initial intention of NRM-K and uniting with the "despots."

The NRM-K general also revealed that the President and the NASA principal are aiming at making Mr Odinga a ceremonial president, a move that he categorically pronounced he will fight.

"The handshake will end with the gnashing of teeth. Instead of staying united, removing the despots and creating a merit-based and just society governed by the rule of law for EVERYONE, over-excited, greedy, selfish and deceptive politicians are jumping all over about a non-existent "constitutional review" process to make Uhuru Kenyatta the Vladimir Putin of Kenya in 2022 and Raila Odinga a ceremonial president. It will not happen," Miguna declared.
