The High Court on Thursday made an order barring the Registrar of Trade Unions from deregistering Wilson Sossion as KNUT Secretary General.
The order prohibits the teachers union from interfering with the issue until the it is heard and determined.
Additionally, the registrar and the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) have also been ordered to refrain from "registering, appointing, placing, validating or admitting any other person as Secretary General" in place of Sossion.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Mr Sossion asserted: "No one had taken over that position. I have always been and will be the union's, Secretary General."
He spoke this in response to the move by the union appointing Hesbon Otieno Agola as the acting Secretary General after they allegedly suspended Sossion.
Addressing journalists after the court ruling, Sossion maintained that he will continue to act in his capacity as Secretary-General.
"I was not suspended as SG. This has been mere politics or wishful thinking. It was unconstitutional,” the ODM nominated MP affirmed.
The legislator further expressed that he has forgiven the individuals and teachers who have fought him in a bid to remove him from the top seat.
His "forgiveness" statement was pegged on a plea by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto during the State of the Nation address calling for reconciliation among feuding Kenyan leaders.
The two leaders asked for forgiveness from Kenyans and also affirmed that had forgiven those who wronged them especially during the charged election campaign period.
