Moses Kuria Addresses 'Owning' DP William Ruto's Helicopters

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria on Friday came out to claim that he is the owner of Deputy President William Ruto's helicopter after a school principal referred to the chopper as Ruto's in an earlier speech.

Ruto and Kuria were both attending an event at Gaichanjiru High School, Kandara, Murang'a County.

With recent questions raised on the source of the DP's wealth, Kuria stood up to speak and immediately asserted that he owned Ruto's supposed choppers.

"I want us to tell each other the truth as Christians, that chopper is mine, Ruto had just borrowed it," Kuria stated.

When it was Ruto's turn to speak, he declared that Kuria's statement should put an end to the aspersions cast on his dealings.

"As Moses Kuria has said, this chopper I've used I borrowed from him.

"People have been bothering me asking about choppers, they now have the answers," he stated.

He called for an end to the speculation on his wealth asserting that he and Kuria were 'shaming the devil' by telling the truth.

At the event, Ruto further addresed the importance of providing quality education to the people of Kenya.

"Quality education is pivotal to realisation of Global Goals, particularly ending poverty; reducing inequalities, ensuring good health. We have committed resources to provide our children with best education to create employment, empower youths, promote economic growth, equity," he stated.
