National Super Alliance Principal Kalonzo Musyoka stated that he was going to work with Deputy President William Ruto for the sake of unity in the Country.
Speaking in Kisii Kalonzo urged Kenyans to end tribalism and ensure the next general election was void of electoral malpractices.
Kalonzo also thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta for supporting ODM leader Raila Odinga's appointment to the African Union as the Representative for Infrastructure Development in Africa.
He noted that Kenya was bigger than any individual and there was no need to keep political grudges that could negatively affect the country.
“We lost elections but doesn’t mean that we sit pretty and watch as things go wrong. We have agreed to work together," the Wiper leader stated.
"We must congratulate President for ensuring that my brother Raila gets that job,” Kalonzo adding that this was a prime job opportunity that will lead to accelerated unity across Africa.
He noted that although NASA had lost elections that doesn’t stop them from working with the Government to ensure there is harmony and prosperity among Kenyans.
“This country was fast degenerating to a war of words among senior politicians. I was almost falling into prey to start abusing but was restrained because I will always want to remain calm and peaceful," Kalonzo stated.
"We must appreciate the newfound working relationship between Raila and President Uhuru,” the Wiper leader further added.
On the calls for a referendum, Kalonzo stated that only Kenyans will decide on whether to have a referendum in the Country or not.
