Mutahi Ngunyi Reveals How DP Ruto Will Lead Rise of Hustler Nation

Political Analyst Prof Mutahi Ngunyi on Sunday opined that It was time for Deputy President William Ruto to take up the vacuum left by Rail Odinga as the opposition figure.

In his weekly show, The Fifth Estate, Prof Ngunyi conveyed that Raila's move had left a political vacuum in the opposition.

"If Raila is not around, there will be someone who will come and fill it. The exit of Raila from the opposition will create the rise of the hustle nation under Ruto. Ruto will fill the vacuum and he will become the next force.

He noted that Raila was now 'romancing' with President Uhuru Kenyatta and had discreetly abandoned the opposition.

"It is not possible to run Kenya if Raila is in opposition. To run the country, Uhuru needs Raila. He has created a one-party dictatorship with Raila," he stated.

He noted that it was good for the country as it had cool the political temperatures and had put the country on the right path.

The team noted that Uhuru needed Raila to point out issues his allies could not and such would provide much insight on national issues.

Earlier on Saturday, the duo (Uhuru and Raila) attended their first international event together during the opening of the 11th African Union Extraordinary Summit in Addis Ababa.

At the same time, Deputy President William Ruto revealed that the government would not give jobs to politicians anymore
