Impostor Arrested Printing Classified KDF Documents

Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers, on Friday, arrested a notorious criminal, Peter Nyabogoye Kaunda, after he was caught printing Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) documents without authority.

Kaunda, 25, was found in possession of several fake documents including a copy of medical examination form, KDF calling letter for January and a copy of police clearance certificate.

The police revealed that they were tipped about the counterfeit printing by concerned members of the public.

They subsequently nabbed the impostor at Sir Yusuf Club in Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD).

Detectives working on information from the members of the public yesterday arrested Mr. Peter Nyabogoye Kaunda, a 25-year-old man, found making (KDF) documents without Authority.

The suspect was nabbed at the Sir Yusuf Club within the Central Business District,” read the statement.

The other documents recovered included a copy of her majesty’s armed forces application to service form and a copy of unknown recruitment format application form.

On Thursday, DCI had also arrested two women who had been accused of robbing people coming from banks.

The two were reportedly a part of a gang of four who were waylaying their victims mostly based in Kajiado county.

 "A gang of four that has been waylaying people coming from banks and robbing them of their hard earned cash and other valuables were early today arrested in Kajiado County," the DCI tweeted.
