Senator Mithika Linturi Forcefully Ejects Wife Maryanne Keitany From Runda Home

Meru Senator Mithika Linturi on Wednesday allegedly hired over 15 goons in a bid to forcefully eject his wife Maryanne Keitany from their matrimonial home in Runda.

According to reports, some of the men were dressed in police uniforms as they tried to evict Keitany, who is a former Chief of Staff in Deputy President William Ruto’s office.

The hired goons resulted to using rocks to break the locked gate where they encountered security team guarding the home.

In an exclusive video obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, the group is seen dragging the car to the roadside despite police officers being present.

The two have been embroiled in a feud that saw the Senator barred from accessing the home by a court in November.

Senior Resident Magistrate Isaac Orenge barred the Meru legislator from loitering near the home or any other place where his wife frequents.

Linturi was also warned against threatening to damage any of the property associated with Keitany.

The Senator and his children were, however, granted access to the Ridge Country Villa solely for the purpose of retrieving their personal property.

Keitany filed the case after her husband, a licensed gun holder, threatened to shoot her during a domestic brawl in the Runda home.

Linturi was later reportedly summoned to the DCI after the complaint was made although he denied reports that he recorded any statement over the allegations.
