Husband Splashes Ksh 60K on The Star Newspaper to Express Love to Wife

A man, on Valentine's day of 2019, spent Kshs 63,000 on a newspaper advert just to show his wife how much he loved her and that he intended to keep it that way.

The lover took his poeticism to another level on page seven of The Star, a national newspaper, just to prove to his wife that her love means so much to him.

"Me loving you is not news but I will put it in a newspaper anyway. If you were an estate you would be Milimani. If you were a birthday, you would be on the 13th of September. If you were my dream car you would be a Mercedes g-wagon," the husband expressed.

Without revealing his identity or that of his wife, the smitten husband further likened her to various other exotic things and places.

"If you were a TV character you would be Fallon. If you were a ridge, you would be Vipingo. If you were my favourite date you would be on the 11th of August. if you were a travel destination you would be Dubai," he continued.

He further declared that he was ready to endure the hardships of marriage as long as the package involved her.

"If love is blind then I lost my eyesight seven years ago. If marriage is hard then hard is what I want for the rest of my life. If I were to choose again I would still choose you," penned the husband.

"I loved you then, love you now and will love you forever... Happy valentines Mrs M," he concluded.

People from around the world celebrate the annual day by buying their loved ones flowers and taking them to exotic shopping and dates.

The lover in this case, however, was not taking chances with expressing his feelings to his wife in the most special 24 hours of the year.
