Manhunt Launched as 2 Police Officers are Drugged & Robbed in Nairobi

Police have launched a manhunt to track down assailants who drugged and robbed three police officers in Nairobi.

The three were attacked in three different incidents.

On Friday morning, a police constable based at Riruta police station was found lying by the roadside at High Ridge.

Assailants vanished with his pistol which had 24 bullets.

They also stole the officer’s cash and mobile phones.

The Standard highlighted that a report from Parklands Police Station to police headquarters, Vigilance House, stated that the officer was found lying unconscious along Mtama road in High Ridge.

On Thursday, the second officer, another constable based at Lang’ata Police Station was found lying unconscious by the road in South C.

Police allege that he was drugged and robbed.

The two police officers received treatment from various hospitals in Nairobi.

The third officer is said to have attempted to commit suicide at his Dandora home yesterday morning.
