On Friday night, outspoken Nairobi preacher, Reverend Lucy Natasha, refuted allegations that she was dating Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko.
The overseer was speaking to K24 anchor, Betty Kyalo in her show dubbed Upclose With Betty.
“He is someone I have prayed with many times on various issues. I have never dated Governor Mike Sonko,” Natasha revealed.
Rumours that she was dating Sonko surfaced after some pictures of the governor with the religious preacher went viral. Other allegations were that the Jubilee Governor was funding her ministry.
“Actually the pictures going round were those we took with the current Governor while he was a Senator. They are professional pictures and people sometimes think they way they want too.
“People crucify you from the court of public opinion, without getting proper information,” Natasha emphasised.
The overseer of Prophetic Latter Glory Ministries International went on to heap praise on the governor.
“In actual fact, he is very God-fearing. My connection with him is very spiritual
“Even from his side, he is a very respectful man, a family man. These are just fabrications,” the preacher refuted.
The preacher also cleared the air on claims that she had several bodyguards around her.
She informed critics that those around are a protocol team.
The team brings order and also guard her. They are amongst the stewards that serve in her ministry.
