Gospel singer, Jimmy Gait, on Tuesday evening, announced results of the numerous tests he took while undergoing treatment in India, and expressed his shock.
Addressing his fans through a video on his YouTube channel, the musician revealed that he was surprised by the results he got from the Indian doctors, which contradicted the prognosis his Kenyan counterpart had given him.
Gait explained that Kenyan doctors had recommended that he gets a throat operation, even without running tests on him.
In India, however, the doctor ran several tests to ascertain what the source of the problem was and as it turned out, an operation was not necessary. He was suffering from Hyper Acidity.
The tests also indicated that the problem originated from the stomach and that if left untreated, it would have developed into cancer.
"The shocking thing is that the Kenyan doctors misdiagnosed me and if they did a surgery on me, the problem would not have been sorted out because it was coming from my tummy.
"What the doctors told me here is that it would have graduated into stomach cancer. That story just shocked me," stated Gait.
He further accused Kenyan medics of being greedy, since they were willing to perform an operation as long as he parted with a fat cheque.
In mid-August, rumours started circulating that the singer was suffering from throat cancer but he quickly shut them down.
Speaking from New Delhi in India, at the time, the musician urged those who were spreading the fake news to stop, noting that it was affecting his family.
