Bishop Jokes About Ruto's Tangatanga Trips to His Face [VIDEO]

Deputy President William Ruto, on Sunday, September 22, found himself the subject of a roast during a church service.

A bishop at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church Karolina, Manyatta, Embu County picked on the DP's recent knack for making trips across the country.

Likening the DP to a bee, known for working extra-hard, the bishop claimed that his trips were beneficial to his recipients and the people who opposed them were like houseflies.

"If each one of us worked diligently, we can all be like a bee but the problem with other people is that they don't want to emulate bees. When they see a bee working, they act like houseflies looking for rotten places.

"They start accusing the bee of Tangatanga the way they have accused the deputy president. They do not see the work he is doing with his numerous trips," stated the Bishop leaving congregants in stitches.

The spiritual leader also took a swipe at the Jubilee's Kieleweke faction who have been at loggerheads with Ruto for a while now.

"Deputy president, please carry on with your trips as your glorify God and serve your people. Let 2022 come and you, Kieleweke team, will understand better," he advised the DP.

On Saturday, September 21, Ruto asked Kenyans to say a prayer for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga after insinuating that his (Odinga's) behaviour was erratic.

Ruto and Odinga have, in the past, differed in public with the former claiming that the latter used the handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta to plant seeds of discord in Jubilee Party.

Speaking in Embu County, Ruto claimed that the former PM’s behaviour was erratic and that he required help.

The DP added that Odinga was trying to get power by hook or crook before dismissing him as a confused leader.

"I think Kenyans should seek divine intervention for Odinga so that he can stop behaving in a funny way," stated Ruto.
