  • Harambee Starlets on Monday, November 25, made history after emerging the Cecafa champions for the first time ever. The team achieved the feat after beating their rivals Tanzania 2-0 during the final.

The win is largely attributed to super-sub Jentrix Shikangwa who joined the game from the bench to open the scoring from the spot in the 70th minute.

Starlets completed the championships without conceding a single goal.
