Little Known Details of Winnie Odinga's Revolutionary Company

ODM leader Raila Odinga's last born daughter Winnie Odinga is a powerful businesswoman in her own right.

The graduate of Drexel University, where she pursued two bachelor's degrees, one in communication and another in international business and economics, put her skills to use by launching her own company, the Brickhouse Counsel.

The BrickHouse Counsel also known as "The Brick" is a full-service consulting agency based in Upperhill, Nairobi, and its mandate is to assist organizations and individuals further their strategic agendas by easing the burden of doing business in a foreign environment.

According to the organization's website, the Brick prides itself on expertise in the fields of independent brand auditing, connections in the digital business world and political environment, and legal advice on steps for new business entry into the Kenyan market.

"We assist in all legal advice on steps for business entry in Kenya. We connect our customers with market leaders and strategic partners for new clients in a foreign market place," the company's website reads.

The Brick Counsel is making waves at a time when many international companies are setting up shop in the country due to improvement in the Ease of Doing Business Index.

Kenya was in October 2019, ranked 56 among 190 economies in the ease of doing business, according to the World Bank annual ratings, an improvement from position 61 in 2018.

Winnie Odinga's company also deals with strategic advisement, where they offer advice on the best method an organization can adopt to achieve its strategic goals within various frameworks.

On the side of the law, the company monitors legislation and provides information that allows clients to adjust and adapt to the changes in the business environment, in addition to policy paper drafting and lobbying.

Some of the companies that have benefitted from the services offered by the company include the Africity Customer Solutions, which stated in their testimonial that their company's' profits increased by 45% within the first six months of working together with The Brick.

Some of the other firms stated to have benefitted from Brick's services include the International Call Centre which boasted of having managed to set up shop in three weeks and identified office and living space courtesy of the Brick.

The company, which was started in June 2018 has been in operation for less that two years but is already causing serious waves in the business world.
