Moses Kuria Leaks Warning Message From Waiguru's Husband

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria on Monday evening, December 16, revealed a WhatsApp message he claimed was sent to him by lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo, husband to Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru.

Kuria shared the screenshot, which expressed displeasure about his criticism on the governor, through a Facebook post.

Waiganjo had allegedly decided to take the matter into his own hands and defend his wife from the legislator.

"Hon Moses Kuria, stop abusing my wife. You can criticise her politics all you want but you will stop abusing my wife," the text read.

The MP claimed that the message did not warrant any response.

Kamotho's warning was in response to a Facebook post from the MP, which stated that President Uhuru Kenyatta had lost an opportunity to cement his legacy by entrusting the NYS programme to some people.

"I sympathise with President Kenyatta. If there was a project that could have transformed this country more than the Big 4 combined was the NYS as originally designed. The president meant well till he entrusted the programme to some...," Kuria had stated.

After the confrontation from the lawyer, Kuria claimed that he didn't mention Waiguru's name, rather was referring to Josephine  Kabura, who was linked to the NYS scandal.

On December 3, the lawyer had gone to the media to rubbish the influence that Kuria was claiming to held in the Mt Kenya region.
