"My name is Deborah Mesesi and this is my parents' home. My son was here, last seen on Thursday (February 20). He was fine, healthy and was playing around. His name is Samuel Omondi. He will be turning four years in July.

"My son is autistic who loves playing a lot and very lovely. The fact that that he doesn't talk is very lovely and as you all know, autistic kids don't like company (of other people) and so he doesn't like the company," narrated Mesesi while holding back tears.

"That day, he was with our young girl here. The girl went inside the house to get a cup of tea for him and as she reported, she didn't take more than 10 minutes. When she came out, she didn't find the baby.

"We have looked for him everywhere, we have announced. The place is called Chepilat, it is near Sotik. We have given our posters and are all over social media," she continued before promising to provide contact information.

"If you can see him anywhere, he is my only boy," she added before being overwhelmed by emotions, "I ask you to pray for me. Pray for my son wherever you are."

Her video has been viewed more than 125,000 times and shared 1,500 times.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Mesesi revealed that since her son went missing, the family reported the matter to Matutu Police station but no progress had been made regarding the case.

"They have not made any progress. The police showed up this morning (Sunday, February 23) but nothing has been found so far. We are just waiting for our baby," she stated.

Several people sympathised with her and comforted her that everything would pan out well and her son would be found. Some offered prayers and useful pieces of advice.

"So painful. I'm thinking someone has been stalking him for quite some time. I really feel for you," shared Douglas Maregwa.

"Tears so close after seeing the end... may God protect that boy and return him home to that mama safe," added Simon Nash.
