A number of worshippers took to the streets of Nairobi's Central Business District (CBD) to pray for the end of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a video that surfaced on Tuesday, July 14, the worshippers were seen around the High Court parking lot in Nairobi.
The worshippers were seen adhering to the Ministry of Health Covid-19 guidelines as they observed social distancing rules by congregating meters apart.
A number of them were seen speaking in tongues as they were deeply engaged in prayer as they knelt along the perimeter wall.
Masks were also donned by some of the worshippers as they took precautions to protect themselves despite the streets not being busy.
Prayers of delivering the country from the shackles of sin were also heard from the worshippers as they repented on behalf of the whole nation.
Others were also seen opening bibles that were placed on the street pavements as they knelt to read a word from the holy book.
The prayers look to have taken place on Sunday as the famous Maasai market which converts the parking lot to a point of selling traditional artifacts.

A number of Kenyans had resorted to various ways of continuing with worship with a number praying from home and following sermons online but others took to Ngong forest to pray.
