The late Khodek was famed for his prowess in mimicking ODM Leader Raila Odinga.

Mc Billie went on to post a video from Churchill show when Khodek entertained the audience in the presence of the former premier and his wife Mama Ida Odinga.

Mc Billie who spoke to Kenyans.co.ke revealed stated that the late comedian worked for Kayamba Africa and also used to make appearances on Churchill show.

"I knew him as a friend and as a colleague. Khodek and I also came from the same area, so he is a person I knew for a long time," Mc Billie narrated.

He revealed that the late comedian was like a mentor to him, intimating that Khodek would offer him gigs along with his band Fiesta Milele while he tried to find his feet in the industry.

Leading up to his untimely demise, Khodek was a bass singer for the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) Staff Choir.

The choir director Nickolas Emodia, who spoke to Kenyans.co.ke described the late comedian as a true patriot and a man who cared for other people.

He revealed that, on Thursday, December 17, 2020, Khodek gave up a portion of his proceeds from a music project they had undertaken, to help the families of choir members that had lost their loved ones.

Emodia revealed that his death comes as shock to him as he was unaware of any ailment the late comedian suffered but for an injured leg.

"Last week, he came to practice and he had crutches. I asked him what was wrong and he told me he was in an accident while boarding a motorbike. He said that he was okay but when it was cold, the leg would start to ache," Emodia narrated.

He mourned the comedian as a person who was multi-talented and a passion for humanity and what he did.

Khodek's passing comes only two months after the death of another comedian Ben Maurice Onyango alias Othuol Othuol who died on October 11, 2020, after a long illness.

His death brings to 6 the number of comedians from the fold who have died in the last 2 or so years.

Some of these comedians passed away at the height of their careers and has often raised important questions on what could be ailing our rib-crackers.
