Citizen TV News Anchor Lulu Hassan veered off her usual serious persona and unleashed her rapping skills on her fans across social media.

In a collaborative duo, with her counterpart Jackson Njehia, Lulu astounded her fans as she masterfully rapped to the old school song Gangsters Paradise by American rapper Coolio.

I can't live a normal life, I was raised by the street; So I gotta be down with the hood team

Too much television watchin' got me chasing dreams; I'm an educated fool with money on my mind

Got my ten in my hand and a gleam in my eye," part of the lyrics that Lulu rapped to.

Fans flooded her comment section lauding the multi-talented news anchor for her rapping prowess.

"Wow!! I will be coming for rapping classes, I love this... beautiful Lulu can sing.

"Didn't know that Lulu is the new rapper in town," a section of the comments read.

The news anchor is considered a jack of all trade as she and her husband Rashid Abdalla run a production company, Jiffy Pictures, which is responsible for the local drama series Maria.

The Swahili news anchor has had moments on and off-camera that have endeared her to Kenyans. Lulu and her husband have managed to set the pace for broadcast journalism due to their off-the-script moments.

This was seen on October 10, 2020, where the couple shared a light moment during Bi Mswafiri's segment. This is after Lulu cornered Rashid into answering what he would do if he found out that he was not the biological father to their children.

Rashid, who seemed stunned at first, contemplated the scenario and made a response that left Lulu in stitches.

"Atamaliza sentensi? Sidhani atamaliza sentensi, (Would she even get through the sentence, I don't think she would make it through the sentence)", Rashid stated much to Lulu's amazement.

In May 2019, a video went viral showing Lulu dancing at her counterpart Sam Gituku's wedding. Not one to shy away from the dance floor, Lulu led the frontier as she danced to the beats. She had donned a black dress and showed off her dance moves while approaching the bridal team's circle.
