Award winning Kenyan marathoner Eliud Kipchoge's INEOS moment has been captured in the newly released movie - Kipchoge: The Last Milestone.

The movie, released by US film company Ridley Scott Creative Group, captures the detailed preparations that were made for his race in Vienna where he became the first human being to run a marathon in under two hours.

Although his record of 1:59:40 was not recognised as an official marathon record, it was nevertheless celebrated as a historic moment in the history of mankind.

Beyond the record, the film documents the Kenyan athlete's human qualities of discipline, determination, and teamwork that have helped him become a global force in the field of athletics.

It is directed by Jack Scott - the son of legendary film director Ridley Scott whose works include the movies Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, among others.

"In marathon, there is a lot of challenges, there is ups and downs, there is pain in training and joy at the end of the marathon. Everybody should believe in their possibilities.

"We wanted to make history and inspire the human family. Everybody should believe, that's what makes us claw and push and push again. Marathon is life," Kipchoge narrates in the trailer.

The movie's first release was in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.

More dates for the release date will be notified for the rest of the world. This will offer an opportune time for all countries to be inspired by his journey as captured by the film.

Currently, being part of the global campaign #PlayNew by Nike saw him make several world tour travels in European countries like Barcelona.

He recently shared a light moment with the female Barcelona team in the stadium and his recent trip was to the United States.

British Billionaire Richard Branson, one of the world’s richest men, celebrated Kipchoge's Movie and urged viewers around the world to watch it.

"Brilliant film about Eliud Kipchoge and his incredible journey to breaking the two-hour marathon barrier. #KipchogeMovie is out on digital now," Branson stated.
