Meru County Governor Kiraitu Murungi has castigated Deputy President William Ruto over claims that the Mount Kenya region belongs to him.

In an interview with Citizen TV on Wednesday, November 17, Kiraitu stated that the deputy president should know that the Mount Kenya Region will listen to everyone.

He further called out Ruto for being abusive in his quest to woo voters in the region.
