The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced a total of 742 job vacancies in various government ministries and state departments.
Through an advertisement posted on the PSC website on Sunday, December 26, the commission published a list of various vacancies in the state agencies whose application process would close on January 5, 2022.
Among the Ministries where PSC is seeking to recruit qualified candidates include the Ministry of Agriculture, Devolution, East African Community, Interior, Tourism, and Transport.
Most Notably, the Interior ministry has over 600 job vacancies with the commission recruiting commissioners and senior Superintendent, and superintendents at the State department of correctional and rehabilitation services.
For the assistant commissioner at the state prison, the salaries range from Ksh68,720 to Ksh98,380 while those of the superintendent ranges from Ksh48,780 to Ksh73,310
At the Ministry of Agriculture, the commission intends to recruit a secretary of Fisheries and Blue economy whose salary ranges from Ksh166,780 to Ksh322,040.
How to Apply
Interested candidates have been advised to visit the online recruitment and selection system of the commission.
First-time applicants are then required to register for an account at the portal by using their ID and email address. They will then be required to set a password for their account.
Those with existing accounts are advised to log in to the portal and continue with the application process. However, applicants are advised to read through the job requirements before starting the application process.
Additionally, PSC stated that they will not consider incomplete applications adding that interested candidates can access the job requirements from the website.
Among the details required include the academic and professional qualifications, referees, and other requirements that are required for specific jobs.
Further PSC advised interested candidates to make their online application through their Job portal before the application process closes.
