Chamwada Takes a Break From NTV

Veteran TV journalist, Alex Chamwada, on Saturday, May 7, announced that his show, Daring Abroad, will be taking a break in order to prepare for a better next season. 

Chamwada, while signing off on the show, announced that the show would be taking a break to rejuvenate, re-energize and refresh. 

The journalist took the time to laud the broadcasting partner NTV for the opportunity as well as the viewers for taking their time to watch the show.

"On that note, we would like to inform you that Daring Abroad is taking a break in order to rejuvenate, to re-energize and refresh. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our broadcaster partner, NTV and the Nation Media Group at large for their support."

"Not to forget, our dear viewers, remember it's just for a moment and before you know it, we will be back soon," he stated. 

During the finale episode, Chamwada highlighted the moment when he alongside colleagues surprised his mother, Elizabeth Sabeti, during the Easter festivities.

In the video, the team from Chams Media and Chams Adventures, flocked her compound in high-end cars as the journalist led the pack.

The surprise brought joy to Chamwada's mother who expressed gratitude for her son's achievements. 

"This is my eldest son and is known as Alex Chamwada. I am so happy that you have come to visit us because when visitors come, you always feel happy."

"I warmly welcome you to my home and with the newly opened offices in Kisumu, I am sure we will also be visiting you there," she stated.

Chamwada has worked in various stations including the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, Kenya Television Network and Royal Media Services.
