A Police Constable with the Kenya Police Service was on Wednesday, November 16, celebrated for her acts of kindness towards a man who had been robbed in Nairobi.

Corporal Christine Mugambi was lauded for lending more than a listening ear to Charles Waweru who had visited the police headquarters to report loss of his luggage.

Waweru had alighted a matatu in Nairobi after a trip in Kitui when he noticed he did not have his load and decided to report the issue at the police headquarters at Jogoo House in Nairobi.

Lucky for him, he met Corporal Mugambi who did not just listen to his case but also lend him some cash which he was to use as fare to his final destination.

Waweru had lost all his belongings in the vehicle he was travelling in and sought help at the police only to find more than he had hoped for when Corporal Mugambi offered him a phone to call home and cash to use as fare home.

While celebrating the cop, the National Police Service highlighted her qualifications as well as achievements in the force over the years.
