Kenya's tourism sector has continued to shine over the international community with the latest entrant being a hotel set to be opened in November 2023.

In its latest edition, Conde Nast Traveller, a respected travel magazine in the United States, ranked the upcoming Angama Amboseli hotel among a list of 20 new hotels to visit.

In an article titled, '20 New Hotels You'll Want to Check Into Just for the Design', the publication gushed over the hotel's design which includes ten luxurious tented suites and Fermob rocking chairs on private decks.

The hotel is designed to offer views of the ever-magnificent Mt Kilimanjaro with amenities including an indoor-outdoor dining area, a fire pit for sundowners, and an infinity pool with a drinking trough for visiting elephants.

On its Website, Angama Amboseli prides itself on its location set 'within a fever tree forest where some of Africa’s last Super Tuskers roam ­— elephants with tusks so large they drag along the ground as they walk.'

Situated at the heart of Kimana Sanctuary, the location is beloved for its lush landscape and remarkable density of wildlife.

The hotel, whose opening rates are $1,650 per guest per night, was designed by designers behind the famed Angama Mara.

The getaway hotel also sits southeast of the Maasai Mara, which was the first community conservancy established in Kenya.

Angama Amboseli was featured in the famous magazine alongside other heavyweight upcoming hotels including Le Grand Mazarin in Paris, Six Senses Rome in Italy and Longfellow Hotel in Portland, Maine.

Others are Capella Sydney in Australia, Mankas in San Francisco, Hotel La Palma in italy, the Emory in London and Habitas Caravan Dakhla in Morocco.

Angama Amboseli was the only hotel featured from Eastern Africa and one of the only two situated on the African Continent.

Conde Nast Traveller is owned by a company that controls other world-famous magazines among then Vogue, Vanity Fair, Architectural Digest and Wired.
