In its latest edition, Travel Noire, an award-winning boutique travel company, ranked Nani's Ecotower located in Watamu among a list of 15 unique Airbnbs to reside worldwide.
The publisher heaped praises on the Airbnb - terming the place as a piece of art created by the celebrated glass artist Nani Croze.
Further, the Airbnb was praised for exuding a colourful, cheerful inspiring vibe filled with natural elements.
Nestled among breathtaking landscapes in Kilifi County, Nani's Ecotower prides itself in offering a realm of unparalleled beauty and enchantment. Guests are promised to experience the pinnacle of hospitality by immersing themselves in the finest amenities.
The first floor offers a lounge with dining situated in the tree canopy of the surrounding forest. The second floor has an en-suite bedroom with a hanging bed and a terrace. This gives a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean.
In addition, the third floor consists of the Ecotower Starbed which offers a unique sleep-out experience.
A spot check on Airbnb.com reveals a 4.85 star across 125 reviews for the acclaimed Ecotower.
Some of the amenities offered include a beachfront, patio, a private backyard and free parking on the premises among other essentials. Customers are charged Ksh12,608 per night.
The news comes as Angama Amboseli Hotel was also ranked among a list of 20 global new hotels to visit.
The hotel is loved for its design as it offers astounding views of Mt Kilimanjaro and consists of amenities including an indoor-outdoor dining area, a fire pit for sundowners, and an infinity pool with a drinking trough for visiting elephants.
The hotel, which was designed by designers behind the famed Angama Mara, charges Ksh225,000 per guest per night.
