PSC Announces 341 Vacancies With Upto Ksh 430K Salary; How to Apply

The Public Service Commission (PSC) on Tuesday, May 30, announced vacancies for job seekers nationwide.

In a statement, PSC announced up to 341 vacant positions in different departments.

Some of the advertised jobs included Director of Accounting Services, Assistant Director, Probation & Aftercare Service, Assistant Director, Assets Management, Secretary, Regional & Northern Corridor Development, Director, Internal Tade, and Director of Tourism, Development, and Promotion.

The advertised jobs were categorised into various groups, with those in job grade CSG 4 earning as high as Ksh432,430 salary inclusive of allowances.

Employees in job grade CSG 5 are entitled to a Ksh197,800 salary plus allowances, CSG 6 will be paid Ksh169,140 monthly plus allowances, and CSG 7 will get a Ksh119,730 monthly salary plus allowances.

The ministries and departments with vacant slots include the State Department of Correctional Services, the State Department for Internal Security & National Administration, the National Treasury and Economic Planning, the State Department for Transport, the State Department for Trade, the State Department for Culture and Heritage, State Department for Tourism, State Department for Wildlife, State Department for Labour & Skills Development and State Department for ASAls & Regional Development.

How to Apply

Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the commission website: www.publicservice.go.ke or the jobs portal: www.psckjobs.go.ke.

On the website, applicants should select the icon of the advertised jobs to proceed to the job pages and select their preferred job before applying.

Meanwhile, on the jobs portal, jobseekers should log into their accounts, and on the left, click on the 'Applicant Section' to select the job required.

On the portal, applicants get the opportunity to view their previously applied jobs and their progress.

Applicants are advised to update their profile with recent qualifications to increase their chances of being selected.

Some of the documents required from the applicants are curriculum vitae, referees, and national identity cards, among other requirements.

All applicants must submit before June 19, 2023, by 5 pm.
