Drop William Ruto Work With Raila Odinga, Uhuru Told

Outspoken Political Analyst Tony Gachoka has stated that President Uhuru Kenyatta ought to drop his Deputy William Ruto for him to win another term.

Speaking on Jeff Koinange Live, a programme on KTN, Gachoka boldly said that Uhuru should start thinking about a new ally if he wanted to continue being Head of State.

On an interesting note, Gachoka proposed that Uhuru should team up with CORD leader Raila Odinga, saying that Ruto was blackmailing him and pulling him back.

“If we don't fix the problem in Rift Valley, then Raila already is the man that Uhuru must look at,” he said.

Gachoka, who is said to be a close confidant of the President, claimed that the presidency was under threat, urging Uhuru to consider working with the Opposition leader.

He further added that the President was better working with Baringo Senator Gideon Moi or Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto, rather than the current United Republican Party (URP) leader.

“It is better Gideon Moi or Isaac Ruto if you cannot team up with Raila,” he said.

The Analyst who is known to be a strong Jubilee supporter, made the glaring suggestions amid widening cracks and growing tension that threaten to break the coalition.

Several leaders within the coalition have been casting stones at the government over alleged laxity in dealing with corruption scandals, a key highlight being the current scandals linking Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru.
