The mastermind of the Garissa University attack, Mohamed Kuno alias Gamadheere, has reportedly shifted loyalty from Al Shabaab to ISIS terror group.
Intelligence reports indicate that Kuno, who was Al Shabaab's Lower Juba Commander, joined a pro-ISIS faction this year in November.
Kuno, born in Kenya, is reported to command over 1200 militiamen hence posing as big threat to the country's national security since he may pose as Kenya's ISIS leader.
The Middle East extremists' group is currently considered the most brutal than any other terror group in the world.
Al Shabaab militia group in Somalia is said to be facing serious division, after a section of its members shifted allegeance from Al Qaeda to ISIS.
The Somali-based militants announced that they would hunt and kill all defectors and are reportedly on hot pursuit of Mohamed Kuno.
Reports reveal that the Jihadist group has already executed more than five commanders who decamped to ISIS together with other fighters.
Kuno is among most wanted terrorists in Kenya, after orchestrating the attack on Garissa University College that left 147 people dead.
Following the massacre, the Kenyan government announced that it had offered Sh2 Million bounty to anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kuno.
