Here is The New British High Commissioner to Kenya

Nic Hailey is the new British High Commissioner to Kenya succeeding Dr Christian Turner whose tenure ends in December this year.

The British High Commission in Kenya revealed through a statement that the appointment was made on Monday by the Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO).

Mr Hailey has been the FCO Director of Africa since 2013 and has also served in Kabul, Washington, Paris and Berlin.

Accompanying him, will be his wife and two children. He will take office from Turner who is set to be transferred to another UK Diplomatic Service appointment.

Upon being appointment Mr Hailey said, “I am delighted to have been appointed as British High Commissioner to the Republic of Kenya. I look forward to arriving in Kenya as our historic partnership reaches a new level, based on shared interests, trust and mutual respect.”
