Isaac Mwaura's Wife, Mukami Attacks Willy Paul Over Wedding Stunt with Alaine

The wife of a prominent Jubilee MP on Wednesday attacked controversial gospel musician Willy Paul over his recent wedding publicity stunt with Jamaican singer Alaine Laughton.

Mukami Mwaura, who is wife to Nominated MP Isaac Mwaura, described the entire stunt as devoid of creativity, claiming it was copied from other successful stunts by top musicians Jaguar and Akothee.

In her rather surprise statement, Mukami added that Willy Paul should have looked for a more appropriate stunt.

The comments come as Willy Paul and Alaine released the video to their new collabo, I Do.

The video was preceded by a well-coordinated and widely reported stunt that sought to give the impression that the Kenyan gospel singer had married the 39-year-old Jamaican songbird.

Interestingly, Mukami has in the past launched another online attack against Willy Paul over his collabo with musician Size 8.

Tiga wana… I am not a musician nor a performing artiste so sijui pressure ya kutoa wimbo lakini hapana (I don't know the pressure of producing a song but no)… a gospel song should put you in a worship or praise mood... Some words don't even make sense… lakini Awards watu watashida...(but people will still win awards),'' Mukami stated in a Facebook post made in November last year.
