Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu Babayao Opts Out of Citizen TV's Jeff Koinange Live Show

Kabete Member of Parliament (MP) Ferdinand Waititu Babayao has declined an offer by Citizen TV to face off with his fierce rival and Kiambu Governor William Kabogo in a Live interview tonight.

Babayao opted out of the Wednesday edition of Jeff Koinange Live (JKL) show, that would have seen him come face to face with Mr Kabogo.

Journalist Jeff Koinange via his twitter handle confirmed the same.

I have invited ALL THE candidates for the KIAMBU top job and the ONLY confirmation I got was @governorwkabogo..The rest DECLINED! #JKLive pic.twitter.com/8n1bweXD30

Waititu, who is set to vie for the Kiambu Governor's seat, has been embroiled in a never-ending tussle with Mr Kabogo since he declared his interest to unseat him as the Governor of Kiambu.

Last year, Kabogo had gone to court accusing Waititu of committing fraud against the people of Kabete, while the MP on his part stated that the governor forged documents from the Kenya National Examinations Council in a desperate attempt to bar him from the 2017 Kiambu Governor’s race.

The two are seeking the Jubilee Party ticket to go for the Kiambu County governor's seat.
