Mutahi Ngunyi's Advice to Kalonzo Over Rumours of Joining Jubilee

Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has criticised Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka for denying recent speculations that he was planning to join the Jubilee Party.

Mr Ngunyi, who initiated a hypothesis that Musyoka could be planning to ditch the National Super Alliance (NASA), advised Kalonzo that it was needless for him to deny the claims.

According to the political scientist, rejecting the speculations only proved that they could be true.

"...A Rumour is NEVER BELIEVED until it is DENIED. If KALONZO does not want us to BELIEVE it, He should NOT DENY the Jubilee Rumour.," Ngunyi said.

On Tuesday, Kalonzo dismissed the widely spread rumours vowing to stick with NASA and respect whoever will be nominated the presidential candidate, adding that those spreading the rumours were Jubilee agents.

" I am firmly in NASA and will go for the position of the alliance flag-bearer," the Wiper leader noted.

Earlier, Ngunyi had theorised that Kalonzo would abandon NASA on claims of rigging in the presidential nomination and in turn run for the top job on a Wiper ticket.

He further opined that Kalonzo's move would be all in a motive to gamble his way into the Jubilee Government.
