Mbita Member of Parliament (MP) Millie Odhiambo has launched a scathing attack at President Uhuru Kenyatta indicating that he should resign from power.
The outspoken Legislator stated that the Head of State had failed in his mandate as a president and should resign if he was unable to handle issues affecting the nation.
"I want to tell the president in other countries in the world when a country reaches this level the most honorable thing to do as the president is not even to wait for August 2017 but he should resign immediately and let somebody else who is capable of handling the country take over" she stated.
She further stated that the government including the President, his deputy President William Ruto and the leader of Majority in Parliament Aden Duale had no moral right to question the Opposition on anything to do with governance because there had all failed the country in their mandate.
The legislator also stated that the health sector was collapsing because Uhuru's sister is said to be among the people who were mentioned in the Afya House scandal.
