State House Lawyer Still Missing Two Years Later

The whereabouts of a lawyer attached to  State House  remain unknown nearly two years now since he went missing.

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Keriako Tobiko has now ordered investigations into the disappearance of Mr. Albert Muriuki who was State House Deputy Director in charge of Constitutional and Legislative Affairs before he disappeared.

This directive to CID director Ndegwa Muhoro, by the DPP follows a formal request by the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) over the unknown whereabouts of State House Deputy Director in charge of Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Mr. Albert Muriuki nearly two years ago.

From  a report on the standard according to the LSK CEO the disappearance was reported at the Central Police Station Nairobi in Occurrence Book (OB) serial number 78/10/1/2014 on January 10th last year.

It is alleged that Mr. Muriuki was last seen at Calee Confectionary Shop at Pension Towers along Loita Street in Nairobi on December 30, 2013
