KNUT Secretary-General Wilson Sossion, wants the Court of Appeal to declare the Techers Service Commission (TSC) in contempt of court.
Sossion was speaking in court while celebrating the ruling by the Supreme Court, which refused to suspend a ruling by the Court of Appeal to increse teachers' salaries by 50-60 per cent.

Sossion said that TSC should be questioned for preparing the teachers payroll for the coming months without factoring in the salary increment.
He wants TSC to recall the teachers payroll for the month of August and include the increase in pay.
He reitarated that the nation-wide strike by all teachers will happen in September, should the government fail to pay the increase in salaries.
