Deputy President William Ruto on Wednesday penned down an inspiring message to Kenyans assuring them of the Jubilee administration's devotion to ensure that they fulfil the promises they made to the people.
The DP, who addressed the President's Big Four agenda, stated that it is Jubilee's goal to create over a million jobs in a bid to curb unemployment.
Speaking on five issues in an Op-Ed published on Nation, the DP noted: "We stand by our commitment unequivocally. We also stand by another value we believe in and have championed from day one — and which I want to emphasise again now, in the shadow of our recently unveiled agenda: The shared responsibility we all have for the future of Kenya."

Rural Electrification
Ruto affirmed that the government, in the same way it delivered the SGR, free maternal healthcare and education reform, will see to it that it has delivered rural electrification.
He also urged Kenyans to work together since that is how they have managed to emerge over the years as an intact and united country.
Tourism
The DP urged people to always face challenges and opportunities when there is a need for them to show up and do what they must.
"So, we “Buy Kenya” to build Kenya. We “Tembea Kenya” when tourism earnings are down and remind the world of our self-reliance," exclaimed Ruto.
Additionally, he stated that Kenyans must maintain the spirit of resilience over the next five years and even transmit it to the future generations.
Opportunities
Ruto reiterated that the Jubilee administration is committed to creating opportunities not just for the advancement of all individuals but also for all to contribute to one another' advancement.
Skills
Citing the success of the G-United National Volunteer Programme, Ruto highlighted that those who have taken part in the initiative have been able to gain invaluable skills; such as communication, personal organisation and have become people management.
"Over the next few weeks, the programme’s fourth cohort of 1300 volunteer graduate youth will join the ranks of their predecessors and contribute to a legacy of collaborative change.
"The fourth cohort will be serving in 20 counties other than theirs, reaching over 30,000 learners in 650 schools to improve education outcomes and support community projects. Youth may apply at www.g-united.co.ke," explained Ruto.
Generosity
Ruto emphasised that through the G-United programme, the youth have demonstrated the kind of service and spirit the country needs.
"Fortunately, although the programme is only open to the youth, the way of life and the attitude of generosity are open to all," the DP directed.
