Popular Radio Presenter Undergoes Surgery

An endeared Nairobi media personality took to social media to announce to radio fans that they would miss her on air for a while as she would be undergoing surgery.

Carol Radull, a sports presenter and enthusiast based at Radio Africa's Classic 105 stated that she would be facing the doctor's knife over sinuses.

"Hey, Guys. I'm going in for minor surgery shortly for my sinuses. I'll be off social media for the rest of the day and probably tomorrow," Radull posted on her Twitter on Friday, September 13.

The radio personality, famous for 'The Jaza Stadi' slogan and initiative, which rallies fans to fill stadiums to support local-based sports teams, further asked her fans to put her in prayers.

"Pole sana (I am so sorry) that updates won't be forthcoming. Do pray for me and my surgeon. Asanteni (Thank you)," Radull requested.

Sinuses are cavities inside a person’s skull that are situated around the eyes and nose and within the front of the face.

The surgery involves opening the pathways of the sinuses and clear blockages.

In August 2019, another media personality, Njambi Koikai penned a heartfelt message to all her fans after she jetted back into the country, following her intensive treatment in the US.

Through her official Twitter page, the celebrated MC informed her fans that she was back home, adding that she was grateful beyond words.

She was suffering from endometriosis for a long time and is receiving treatment abroad that saw her undergo 16 surgeries.
