For years, singer Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has been at the top of the entertainment industry but judging her by uber posh abode in Migori, people may mistake her for a flamboyant politician.
Perched somewhere in Migori, the singer boasts of a high-end mansion estimated at Ksh80 million that possesses almost all modern facilities humans are in pursuit of.
The mansion itself is a two-storey behemoth that is painted white and rivals that of supremely wealthy politicians.
Its interior is properly designed complete with high-end furniture, a big living room and a sizable bathroom rivaling some middle-class families' entire apartments in Nairobi City.
The kitchen is properly designed with bar stools while faux-plastic plants dot the interior.
The walls spot a flashy white and yellow colours that perfectly intertwine to make a properly designed marvel.
Outside, the property has a lavish swimming pool that is properly gated and the compound spots resting gazebos.
The compound itself has a vast manicured lawn and at one of the places, closer to the gate, the landscape has been designed to display the name 'Akothee'.
Also dotted across some properties in the homestead is Akothee's logo. One is found next to the swimming pool.
Akothee is among other high-flying leaders like former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru and Milele FM presenter Felix 'Jalang'o' Odiwuor who boast of lavish multi-million properties.
